| The Royal W Resort has undergone a REAL set of upgrades which resulted in receiving a business recognition honor, "Cassville's 2007 Beautification Award" We first changed the 1957 named "Sunset Motel" to the new proud name of "Royal W Resort". As you drive on Sugar Camp Scenic Byway or called Highway 112 you'll note the new sign and the flashing twin beckons. Since taking ownership last summer we embarked on several customer suggested improvements to this one of a kind destination. We eliminated the mobile home park to make way for our new RV park, planned to open this spring. The swimming pool has been completely renovated from the past, and is now a center piece of the resort. We added a HUGH deck to handle large groups and family reunions, improved the parking, making room for all our guests vehicle's, installed new 5 foot wide showers with dual massager's in each upgraded bathroom and added the RWR Smoker. We added 4 pro-horseshoe pits for fun !! We have also developed a new RoyalReward program!! Plus many many more improvements to make your stay with us a "Royally Good Time" !! If you have not stayed with us we are located on Missouri State Highway 112 approximately 3 miles south of Cassville, Missouri and 3.5 miles north of Roaring River State Park. The Roaring River is the 20th largest spring in Missouri, with 20 million gallons of cold spring water produced every day. This is a fantastic place to fish the fresh spring waters for Rainbow and Brown Trout. The Roaring River Hatchery and Trout Park has one of the oldest hatcheries in the state, first constructed in 1910! The hatchery produces and stocks more than 250,000 rainbow trout each year and most end up in the 1.6 miles of trout stream that lie within the boundaries of Roaring River State Park. Come here to fish the crystal clear water, just click on the trout picture to the right to see what your after ! After your creel is full, take in a round of golf!! We are located directly across the street from Cassville Golf Club ranked among the 10 best public golf courses in Missouri !! Our resort is a locally owned and family operated with 15 private modern units. You can pick your style and budget! We offer 2 suits that has one bedroom and a sofa sleeper with fully equipped kitchens, 8 two bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens. 4 single units with kitchenette's and 2 single units that offer microwave, small fridge/freezer and a coffee maker. All at affordable family rates. Our swimming pool is open from May 28th through September. The pool hours are 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. We are especially prepared for large groups, such as clubs, family reunions, business group meetings and golf outings. The Royal W Resort opens the last weekend BEFORE March 1 and we close for the winter on November 3, 2008. We are Members of the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce.
